Arm of Hope Charitable Trust is a registered NGO based in Pullurampara, under the Thiruvambady Panchayat in Kozhikode district — the literary capital of Kerala, God's Own Country. The Trust has been playing a vital role in uplifting society by empowering families and extending focused care to children, widows, the sick, orphans, and the elderly through a variety of support services. We believe that everyone deserves equal rights in life. That is why we are committed to supporting the most vulnerable members of society by promoting and protecting their rights.

The communities we serve face numerous challenges such as lack of access to nutritious food, proper sanitation, and basic amenities; unsafe living conditions; social neglect; inadequate medical care; unemployment; and rising substance abuse. Through quality education, rehabilitation, food security, proper clothing, healthcare, medicine, and developmental initiatives, we aim for long-term holistic rebuilding of lives.

Our Activities

Pain & Palliative Care
The “Arm of Hope” Pain & Palliative Care project is aimed at bringing care to bedridden and chronically ill patients who are suffering. As part of this initiative, we provide: Home visits to care for bedridden patients,Nutritious food, medicines, and proper care for poor patients,Free distribution of medicines and supporting equipment,Daily essential supplies for underprivileged patients
Psycho-Social Center
Under the “Arm of Hope” Psycho-Social Center, individuals addicted to substances are identified with the help of local self-governing bodies and provided with free de-addiction treatment and counseling. We help them return to normal life. Activities also include: Ensuring access to medication and doctor consultations for poor psychiatric patients,Rehabilitating individuals who have no one to care for them.
Rural Self-Employment Training Center
The “Arm of Hope” Rural Self-Employment Training Center is aimed at empowering: Socially isolated individuals,Marginalized groups,People with disabilities,Widows,Patients,Recovered addicts and psychiatric patients.With the goal of moving them from dependency to self-sufficiency, we provide them with skills and small-scale income-generating employment opportunities.
“Raandhal” – Senior Citizens Outreach Program
“Raandhal” is a project launched by the Arm of Hope Charitable Trust with the aim of making old age joyful. Every month, we visit:Day homes,Senior citizen clubs,Elderly care centers.During these visits, we organize: Medical camps,Distribution of medicines,Mental wellness activities,Recreational trips.
Hope Through Support Program
This program identifies students who had to discontinue their education due to various reasons and provides: Counseling,Support to resume and complete their studies,Help to become self-sufficient after completing education,For students who completed higher secondary education but cannot pursue further studies due to poverty, we assist them in enrolling in job-oriented courses.
Hope Through Education
Through this program, we provide: Learning materials,Scholarships,to underprivileged students to help them achieve their educational goals.
“Karuthal” – Free Medication for Kidney and Cancer Patients
Through the “Karuthal” project, we support underprivileged patients suffering from kidney disease and cancer by providing: Free medications,Financial aid for dialysis, chemotherapy, and radiation treatment.

Our Source of Income

The Arm of Hope Charitable Trust does not receive any foreign aid, government projects, or other major sources of funding. Our activities are sustained solely through the small contributions given by individuals who have known us for a long time and have personally witnessed and understood our service.
